Hasper Class Newsletter Thursday 8th September 2016
Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you had an excellent summer break.

It has been a pleasure teaching your children this week…long may it continue!

Our topic this term is the Anglo-Saxons and we plan to visit the Sutton Hoo gallery at the British Museum later this term as well as build shelters as if we were new arrivals in the country.

Homework

This coming Tuesday 13th September would have been Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday.  We will be celebrating the work of one of the world’s greatest children’s storytellers in school but would also like your child to bring a piece of work in from home.  By Tuesday 13th, please could your child either draw or write a description of their favourite Roald Dahl character.  This should be no larger than A4 and should have their name and class clearly written on the reverse.
