Thank you all for coming to watch the Carol Service this week! The children worked so hard throughout the rehearsal process, and it really paid off!
We also would like to thank the HSA for the tickets to the Panto – oh yes we do!
Next Tuesday afternoon we will be having a Christmas Movie Party in Krasner Class – if you are able to provide any snacks, juice, fruit or sandwiches, we would be most grateful!
We would like to watch ‘Home Alone’ which is rated a PG. If you do not consent to your child watching it, please email me or speak to me ASAP and I will find a Christmas movie rated U.
This week we have been brainstorming ideas for our book corner, as it looks a bit sad at the moment! We have come up with some excellent ideas, and have spent a long time categorising books and reorganising the shelves! We have also finished our work on Floodland, which the children have really engaged with.
Maths – This week we have done some problem solving activities, and went through a test paper that the children did last week. Next week we will be solving some crimes!
Get festive! Eat a mince pie or two, decorate your trees, and have some family time – you’ve worked hard and deserve a rest! I will be handing out a challenge for the xmas holidays next week!
Next term we will be using the book ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’ as our focus reader. We will be exploring WW2 in History too. If you have a copy of Goodnight Mr Tom at home, we would be most grateful if you bought it in to school next term. Posters, memorabilia and replica objects are also welcome! Please make sure you don’t bring anything in that is VERY special, just in case it is damaged or lost. If you have any old photographs of family members who were alive in WW2, I can photocopy them for our new display!
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas, and a happy holiday,
