Weston Park Primary School is a community of over 250 pupils and staff, located in Crouch End in the London Borough of Haringey. In November 2012, Ofsted rated us as “Good” but we continue to work together to strive for improvement and excellence in everything that we do.
A Local, Community School
We are a single form entry school with 30 children in each class from Reception to Year 6 and a Nursery offering 52 part-time places. The majority of our children live in the immediate area of the school, although some do travel from further afield.
What is important to us?
I want every child to be challenged, to have their thinking stretched, to ask questions and have enquiring minds. Fundamentally, a school must be welcoming, kind, supportive and have a positive outlook on lifelong learning. It must celebrate diversity and cultural and religious differences, challenge stereotypes and create an environment in which children feel excited to come and learn every day.
As Weston Park’s Headteacher, I am privileged to lead a team of committed and dedicated staff that is enthusiastic and excited about working with all our young people and their families. Together we work to support the children to become the best that they can be and prepare them to be active citizens in their local, national and international communities.
Active and Supportive Parents and Carers
The school is supported by a fantastic group of parents and carers who work alongside our staff to create an environment that supports, challenges and stretches the children in every way. The Home School Association (HSA) actively fundraises throughout the year in support of extra-curricular projects for the children, all of which further enrich the curriculum.
